Eastern Christian School opened its doors for the 122nd first day in school history this morning. As with any new year, there was the familiar “back to school buzz”: friendly teachers ready to welcome in a new group of students, school buses and parents dropping children off at school, new back packs and school supplies, and the excitement of students entering the building for the first time.
This year, in addition to those annual favorite sights and sounds, Eastern Christian had a lot to celebrate. On our Midland Park Elementary School Campus, Principal Sandy Bottge, Head of School Tom Dykhouse, and former foundation board chair David Visbeen hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome students into the completely renovated elementary school.

We are continually thankful for God’s blessings and faithfulness. We give Him the glory at the start of this school year. We are excited to continue our partnership with Christian homes and churches in our engaging, nurturing, and transforming education!
